NOTE – Approval is necessary for completion of the root filling. "Emergency dentures" are supposedly available but this phrase has no dental meaning and it is unclear what criteria the HSE plans to use to restrict the provision of such dentures.

NOTE – Dentures are now available under the Medical Card Scheme. Subject to approval by the Principle Dental Officer.
